I’m going to write this in /non/ L33TSP34K so that people understand this very clearly. 

It’s a wonder that after ALL this time, people still don’t know what it really means to be/have a moirail. They don’t understand what a moirail is. They confuse it (most of the time) to be synonymous with “best friend”. Guess what! Moirail does not mean “best friend”. Not to say that moirails can’t be best friends.

From /my/ understanding of the comic and whatever, a moirallegiance is when 2 people find their other half; one person is a danger to themselves/other people, and the other person is able to calm them down and help placate them through whatever means necessary. Moirails understand each other, they know how to react properly to each other. Moirails are soulmates, your other half if you are incomplete. Keep in mind that it’s one’s other /HALF/!! Which means it doesn’t make sense when people have “more than one moirail”!!!

Not EVERYONE needs a moirail. I hope you understand this. Not everyone is a danger to themselves and other people. So please, stop running around calling everyone that’s your “best friend” your moirail!!!
